Erika Vega

Erika is a feminist women’s rights activist from Mexico, who is also a researcher in Menstrual Health in India. She is married to a Naga from Nagaland State and lives in India.

Her professional experience has been focused on research, training, consulting and project development in gender, peace-building and human rights in the public and private sector. 

By being part of Creators of Peace, she has discovered a way to heal community, especially women.  For her, it has been a beautiful journey where she experienced forgiveness, fearlessness and honesty with herself; and that is something she wants other women to have — the opportunity to live and experience and to be free from fear, anger, anxiety or situations of violence.
